About the product
Honey is a natural Prebiotic. Honey contains a variety of oligosaccharides making it an effective colonic prebiotic. It is well recognised that various oligosaccharides, when added to a probiotic-containing food like yoghurt, significantly enhance the growth and viability of the cultures. In other words, the prebiotics act as a “fertilizer” to these beneficial bacteria. Our milk and honey product contains two proven prebiotics, Inulin and honey, both assisting to maximise the viability of the probiotics.
