Rewards - Terms and conditions

 

The Rewards program is a customer loyalty program for Doorstep Organics customers.

By joining as a member you agree that these Terms and conditions will apply to you in respect of the Rewards program. 

The Terms and conditions are very important and you should read them fully.

 

Joining

Who can become a Doorstep Rewards member?

To become a Rewards member, you need to be an individual and have a current Australian residential address. If you are under the age of 18, you need the consent of your parent or guardian to join.

You must also be registered as a customer with Doorstep Organics.  If you are not already registered, you can register here.

 

How do I register to become a Rewards member and does it cost anything?

You can join by going to the 'account and notifications' page in your website account, and toggling the "I would like to join Doorstep Rewards" button to green.

Joining is free and there are no fees to continue as a member.

You will not be awarded points until you join the Rewards program.

 

Accumulating Points

What are Doorstep reward points and how do I get them?

Doorstep reward points are what you collect when you shop with Doorstep Organics. 

You accumulate 1 point for every $1 you spend on purchasing products or gift vouchers with us.  Points will be rounded down to the nearest dollar (no cents). 

You do not accumulate points for any additional charges, such as Shipping charges, Specific time charges, Same Day Delivery Surcharge or Wool packs. 

Your points are awarded with the status of Pending when you submit your order.  They are upgraded to Active points when you pay for your order - that's typically when your order leaves the warehouse.  We do it this way because we sell a lot of weight based products and the value of your order, and therefore your reward points, may change due to these fluctuations.  Once your order is packed and ready to ship, we know the final value and your final points can be assigned.

 

Using points

How and when can I enjoy my Doorstep points?

Doorstep points can be used when you shop on our website at www.doorsteporganics.com.au.  In the final step of the Checkout you can choose how many points you wish to use against the total value of your order. 

Points may be redeemed against products and any additional charges, such as Shipping charges, Specific time charges, Same Day Delivery Surcharge or Wool packs.

Points can be used in increments of 1000 points (equivalent to $10). 

If you do not use all your points, the remainder will be retained in your account for you to use at another time.

Please note that using Doorstep points is not available on our mobile Apps at this time.

 

Is there a maximum number of points I can accrue?

You cannot have more than the equivalent of $1,000 in your account at any one time.

If you have more than the equivalent of $1,000 in your account, you will not be able to collect any more points in excess of this amount.

 

Will my points expire?

Your points expire if they remain unused within 12 months from date they are awarded.

 

Where can I check my points balance?

When logged into your Doorstep Organics website account, under the menu item 'account & orders' you will see an option called Rewards.  This is where you can see your rewards balance at any time.  If you have any difficulties you can submit an enquiry via our Contact Form.

 

Membership

What if I no longer wish to be a Rewards member?

You can opt-out of the Rewards program by going to the 'account and notifications' page in your website account, and toggling the "I would like to join Doorstep Rewards" button from green to grey.

Any accrued points will be deleted.  You will cease to accrue points and will no longer be able to use your points when shopping. 

 

How will Doorstep Organics use my personal information?

Please read our Privacy policy to see how we collect, use and share your personal information.

 

Can these Terms and conditions be changed or terminated?

Doorstep Organics can change or terminate these Terms and conditions, or the Rewards program at any time.

We will give advance notice of any change or termination by email to our Rewards members.

 

What are my responsibilities in relation to the Rewards program?

Please keep your personal details updated so we can keep you updated with information about the rewards program.

It is your responsibility to keep your password details safe and secure.  You must take all reasonable steps to prevent unauthorised use or access to your Doorstep Organics account, including not using a password for your account that is used for any other of your online accounts.  You acknowledge that unauthorised access to your account may occur if you do not take this action.

Any tax, liability or duty incurred by you arising from your participation in the Rewards program is your responsibility.

 

What restrictions apply to my membership?

You can only have one membership and you can't transfer it to anyone else.

Your points accruing is based on you purchasing normal household quantities of goods.  We reserve the right to determine what constitutes a normal household quantity of any good and apply purchase limits for the collecting of rewards points.  A purchase of goods may be considered to exceed a normal household quantity even if the purchase is split over more than one order.

Points may only be collected for personal and household use.

Points cannot be exchanged or refunded for cash.

 

Doorstep Organics rights and obligations

What are Doorstep Organics rights in relation to my membership?

We may refuse your request to join our rewards program for any reason.

We may change the redemption rate at any time.

We may specify exclusions or conditions at any time to the rewards program, and we may change them from time to time.

We may reverse any points accrued if goods are returned, an order is cancelled or you have been refunded for any goods in respect of which points had been accrued.

We may reverse points which have been allocated to you if there are any grounds which we consider, in our reasonable discretion, justify a reversal, if for instance the points were allocated to you by mistake (including by reason of our error), or if you earned them by misusing an offer or by fraudulent means.

We reserve the right to monitor your ordering history to ensure that points are accumulated legitimately.

On cancellation of your membership we may retain your membership information for the purposes of record-keeping and, in de-identified form, for our general analysis purposes.

You agree that, except to the extent that these Terms and conditions expressly provide otherwise, we do not need to notify in advance or give you any reasons, with regard to any action we take concerning your membership.

 

What are Doorstep Organics liability in relation to my membership?

You acknowledge and agree that there may be

If you intend to rely on anything in connection with the Rewards program, your reliance should be based solely on your own judgement, including as to the extent to which you should obtain or use any points.

Provided that nothing in these Terms and conditions limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, any liability we may have to you in negligence, breach of contract or otherwise, and all conditions and warranties as to the condition, suitability, quality, fitness or safety of any goods or services supplied by Doorstep Organics pursuant to these Terms and conditions, whether express or implied by statute, are excluded to the maximum extent permitted by law, and, where liability cannot be excluded (such as where the Australian Consumer Law applies), our liability to you will in all cases be limited to:
